Dr. Kuo-Ming Yu, Director of CMC & Production
Dr. Yu heads Formosa Pharma’s CMC and manufacturing efforts for its leading programs with the goal of clinical development and commercialization. With more than 20 years’ experience in CMC development, cell therapy, and medical devices across small molecule and biological modalities in international companies such as Tanvex, Taivex, Athenex, Inc., and Avalon Biomedical, Dr. Yu and his teams have advanced programs through the clinic and onto marketing applications. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Biology and Chemical Technology from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, an MSc in Biochemical Research from Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine (UK), and an B.S. in Life Sciences from National Tsing Hua University.
